The New Orleans Food Community held its first Founding Members’ Meeting on June 29, 2005 and elected its first Board of Directors. This board will serve through October, at which point a new board will be elected for a one-year term.

At the June meeting the founding members elected Tommy Boheme, John Calhoun, Dave Cash, Karley Frankic, Leenie Halbert, Betsy Hemenway, Bridget Kelly, Erin Laine and Dar Wolnik to serve on the interim board. The board met on July 13 and elected its officers:

• President: Tommy Boheme.
• Board Chair: Erin Laine.
• Vice-President: Dave Cash
• Secretary: Karley Frankic.
• Vice-Secretary: Dar Wolnik.
• Treasurer: Bridget Kelly.
• Vice-Treasurer: Betsy Hemenway.

The board welcomes all NOFC members at Board meetings.
