The NOFC’s next monthly potluck will be this coming Wednesday, January 17 at 7PM at the Community Center at 623 N. Rendon St. in the Mid-City/Bayou St. John area.

Bring your favorite dish to share or just come eat. Also, find out about the exciting things happening in the coop world (and bring a friend)–If you have not been keeping up with the NOFC’s progress of late, there are two exciting projects in the works.

Most immediately: we are looking to relaunch the Buying Club by very early March (and hopefully much sooner!). Slightly longer term, we are working with Second Harvest foodbank and Marketumbrella on the development of a Mobile Market which will bring the food to the people, to be launched by very early fall.

This month, it is especially important to us to hear from past members of the Buying Club, so even if you can’t make it to the potluck, let us know if you want to start ordering and/or helping again!
